You see a need and you can’t walk past it. Someone in your building is struggling. A school back home is short on supplies. A family nearby is having a rough stretch. So you start doing something about it, quietly, on your own.
That instinct is the whole heart of Kindred Light. And you don’t have to carry it by yourself.
Bring your project here and it grows. More hands to help, more people who care, and the backing of a registered nonprofit, so every donation is tax deductible and your donors get a receipt. Things one person can’t do alone suddenly become possible.
We look at every project closely and make sure the need is real before we move. That care is what keeps our community’s trust.
A note on leading a project
Here’s the honest part. When you bring a project, it stays yours to lead. You stay close to the need, keep an eye on what’s given and spent, and make sure every dollar and every item gets where it’s meant to go. You’ll snap photos and send updates to our web team, so everyone who gave can see what they made happen.
We’re right beside you the whole way, with funds, volunteers, and getting the word out. But you’re the one holding it, and being open about it is part of the job. That’s what keeps this whole thing honest.
